Pyrography is better known as wood burning. It is an ancient form of art where hot tools are used to burn an image onto a natural surface such as wood or leather.
If you are looking for something unique, Burning Heart Treasures creates beautiful works of art that will be sure to make yourself or that special someone smile. The detail in these works of art are sure to wow your guests and they make a wonderful conversational piece.
Most custom pieces are approximately 8" x 11" using live edge basswood, however larger pieces can be made. The miscellaneous pieces vary in wood, size, and shape.
I use various types of wood like cedar, pine, and birch. For a charming and rustic look live edged bass wood is available.
Pieces can be personalized with names, dates and color can be added for a more dramatic effect.
All pieces are finished with a protective coat of wax, or polyurethane as well as hanging hardware.
